Lawrence McFadden, CMC, ECM
Chef McFadden’s impressive 40-year career spans roles in America, Hong Kong, and Singapore, including iconic properties such as The Greenbrier, Waldorf Astoria, MGM Grand Hotel and Casino, The Ritz-Carlton Company, and The Shangri-La Hotels. His career began in the kitchens of the famous Greenbrier Hotel as an apprentice after completing an Associate’s Culinary Degree. During his 25-year tenure in the kitchen, he achieved Olympic membership, the CMC designation, an Honorary Doctorate, and numerous recognitions. He was the first American Chef to attain the position of Corporate Chef at The Ritz-Carlton. Later, he held corporate roles with MGM and Shangri-La Hotels. More recently, he served as the General Manager/COO at the Union Club in the private club sector, earning the Mel Rex Award for Top City Club GM in the Nation in 2020. Currently, he works as a Search & Consulting Executive for KOPPLIN KUEBLER & WALLACE and serves as the Executive in Charge of the Club Leadership Alliance Food & Beverage Experience Network.
