Heiko Bendixen, CMC

Master Chef Heiko Bendixen earned the Certified Master Chef title in 1983. 

Career Highlights:

  • Began his culinary journey as a chef’s apprentice at age 14.
  • Was an Executive Chef at Ballys Park Place and Showboat Hotel and Casino.
  • Relocated to Sydney, Australia, serving as Vice President of Food & Beverage, where he played a key role in opening the Sydney Harbour Casino
  • Returned to the U.S. in 1997 as Executive Chef at Caesars Atlantic City
  • Chef Heiko studied at the Culinary Institute of America and served on the committee of the American Culinary Federation.
  • Was responsible for culinary services and stewarding at Foxwoods. 

Chef Bendixen passed away on July 21, 2016.
